Take our Poll! ... and some news

I have been away for a week in Houston on business, and I left my hair dryer on the bathroom counter before I left.  When I got home, I found that this drives Dan crazy.  (But evidently not crazy enough to actually put it away himself - it was still on the counter when I got home Friday night!)

So anyway, I was curious - if you use a hair dryer/curling iron/straightener, where do you keep it?  Take our poll on the right.

And here is our "news"...

Two weeks ago, I was offered a promotion with my company.  It took us about a week to think about it and consider the offer, and last week we decided to go for it.  I will be the Lead Applications Engineer & Inside Sales Manager for the Argo Gulf Coast region.  I'm excited about the opportunity, but it does mean that we have to ...move to Houston.

Dan is currently applying for jobs in Houston, and we won't make the official move until he finds one.  In the meantime, Argo has rented me an apartment in Houston and I will be traveling there a LOT.   It'll be rough for a while, but we really think this may be the place for us to settle down.  I sure hope so - we are both TIRED of moving!!

Hey, remember how I told you I was tempted to pick up and move. That same day, I looked online for houses in Houston and found a 4bed 2 bath with a pool for $121,900. Not that we could get it, but Dan, with your comment about cutting the umbelical cord gave me the incentive to prove you wrong. Love you guys, still no more news on our situation yet.

Congrats on your promotion! Sounds...complicated! (But I know you love it!) Now hopefully your house will sell here! Good luck with everything!
